About Noora
Noora Kamar writes literary fiction. She has been writing and facilitating writer-friendly spaces—as a professional writer, creative writing coach, and previously as an academic and professor of Literature—for almost thirteen years.
She holds an M. A. in English Literature from The English and Foreign Languages University, India. She has taught at university-level as Assistant Professor in colleges in South India. She has also held a Teaching Assistantship at McMaster University, Canada.
Her short stories have appeared in the Augur Magazine, the /tƐmz/ Review and Open Ceilings magazine. She has read from her work-in-progress novel at the Emerging Writers Reading Series in Toronto.
Noora believes that stories make life worth living. She is keenly attuned to the intersections across which writing and storytelling play out, and is sensitive to each writer’s unique approach to writing.
